In order to provide ample and equal opportunities to students with low means of sustenance, students from backwards classes and frontier regions of the state, a number of post- Matric(secondary school) scholarships are administered by the college. These scholarships are financed by the Govt. of India through the state Govt. and are disbursed as per guidelines of ministry of social justice and empowerment, Govt. of India.

In addition to this, college also grants financial assistance to poor and needy students out of the students Aid Funds and disbursement of this assistance is made as per guidelines laid down by the higher education department.

As per guidelines, laid by the concerned agencies for Post Matric scholarship, the parental/guardians annual income should be below Rs 50920. In case of students Aid funds, the monthly family incomes should be below Rs 3000. Orphan students with no earning, children with broken families with no economic support and physically challenged shall also be considered for students aid funds. The scholarship amount varies between Rs 90 P.M. to Rs 230 P.M. at present rate.

Eligible applicants should apply for the above-mentioned scholarship on an application form obtainable from the scholarship committee. Applications for scholarship are scrutinized by the scholarship committee, composed of faculty member nominated by the principal at the beginning of each academic session.

The following documents are required to be submitted by the applicants:
Certificate of income and occupation of the parent/ guardian from a competent authority the income may be issued and certified, by a revenue officer not less then the rank of a Tehsildar.
Attested copy of the state subject certificate.
Testimonials of any certificate of health/family composition, if applicable.

Rules & Regulations for Scholarships/ Financial Aid
A scholarship holder is expected to maintain regular attendance and satisfactory conduct in the College.
Scholarship shall be drawn only for the academic session including the month in which the university examinations are completed. Sundays, Sanctioned holidays and permissible leave are also included.
Detained or failed student are not eligible for scholarship/financial aid, expect in very exceptional circumstances.
