| Admission to Various Under-graduate courses |
The admission to courses BA/ B.Sc/B.Com/B.C.A. part- I shall be open to a person who has passed the higher secondary part-II examination (10+2) pattern of J&K state Board of School education or an examination recognized as equivalent there to. Admission in BCA shall be made by entrance test through University of Jammu.
Admission to BA/B.Sc/B.Com part-II shall be open to a person who has passed the BA/B.SC/B.Com part-I examination of University of Jammu.
Admission to BA/B.Sc/B.Com part-III shall be open to a person who has passed BA/B.SC/B.Com part-II examination from University of Jammu. Every student of BA/B.Sc/B.Com examination shall opt General English as a compulsory subject in each part namely part I, II & III examination and such other subject/ combination of subject as may be prescribed by the Academic council of an affiliated University from time to time.
Note: - Admission to these courses is on the basis of merit.
| Admission to Various Post-graduate courses. |
Admission to PG courses in chemistry and Urdu (20 and 15 seats respectively) shall be open to students who have passed B.A and B.Sc part-III examination from any recognized university. The admission is based on the basis of academic merits. There are two payment seats in chemistry and Urdu each. From 2008 onwards, 50% seats in P.G courses shall be reserved for the students hailing from erstwhile District of Doda.
| Admission to Various Add-on Courses. |
The eligibility for admission in various Add-on courses is 10+2 preferably with science subjects and the admission shall start from 1st. August onwards.
- The admission process for BSc Part-I will commence after the declaration of results for Class XII examination by the J&K Board of School Education (Jammu division). Notification with regard to this is issued in to local newspapers.
- The college prospectus and application form, priced at Rs. 50 will be available for sale in the college from 15th June, 2005 against cash payment.
- Students are advised to go through the prospectus thoroughly before filling the admission forms.
- The last date of submission of duly filled in Admission form shall be notified separately in the local media.
- Due to ceiling on the intake capacity, students are advised in their own interest to apply for three subject combinations in order of preference.
- Admission to various subject combinations available in the college is governed by merit only and the cut off percentage for each combination various.
- List of students qualifying for admission based on merit and choice offered by them will be prepared and displayed prominently in the college.
- Students who do not deposit the requisite fee within the time frame notified in each merit list are liable to forfeit the right of admission and the seat will be offered to other eligible student following next in the merit list.
- A student who is admitted to the college and completes the minimum required attendance but either fails or does not appear in the ensuing university examination will not be considered for admission to the same class again.
- Students seeking admission to B.A Part-I shall take up the same subjects as in case of their 10+2 examination. However, exceptions are allowed in case of Computer Applications, Electronics.
- Admission to BSc Part-II and III will commence immediately after the declaration of results for BSc Part-I and II by the University of Jammu. The dates are duly advertised in the print media.
- Students seeking admission to Part-II and III shall submit only the Main Admission Form along with the requisite fee and documents.
- No change of subject is permitted in BSc Part-II/III.
The Principal reserves the right to accept or reject any application form for admission without assigning any reason.
